Korea Health Supplement Association (KHSA) is under the Ministry of Health and Welfare of Korea with about 1000 members which are functional food manufacturers and distributors.  The role or business of KHSA are as follows:
a.      Survey and research for the issues related to health functional food (similar to dietary supplement in USA)
b.      Aggressive lobbying in regulatory standards for health functional food
c.      Preliminary deliberation and management of advertisement of health functional food
d.      Organizing annual exhibition- Natural & Health Food Expo
e.      Offering of training program for the members and businessman
f.        Establishment of self-regulatory standards for health functional food
g.      Publication and distribution of booklets and brochures related to Health functional food
h.      Provision of up-dated health-relevant information with health functional food
i.        Operating Korea Health Supplement Institute(KHSI) approved by Korea Food and Drug Administration
　　For the development of Health products trade between China and Korea, CCCMHPIE and KHSA will keep a close cooperation relationship and organize regular exchange meetings and visits.
