The growth rate of Chinese pharmaceutical industry has surpassed that of the global medicine retail market, it has become the fifth biggest market of medicine and healthcare in the world. With a population of 1.3 billion, China¡¯s demand for medicines and health products will continue to grow rapidly. This, combined with the increase of the aging population, will drive the medicines and healthcare market to grow at the rate of 15% annually, higher than that of the global average growth.
